BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Saad S.M. Hassan is working as Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Ain Shams University and as Head of the Reference Laboratory, EIMP (DANIDA, Denmark)/ Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA). He obtained Ph.D., 1969, Analytical Chemistry at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He received many Prizes and Awards during his career. He has Membership in Professional Societies and Committees.
Dr. Saad S.M. Hassan is specialized in analytical methodology and instrumentation. He is experienced professional in water, air and hazardous waste sampling, analysis and handling and Environmental Assessment and Management. He supervised over 200 environmental projects for assessment, management, and application of Best Available Technology/Best Environmental Practice (BAT/BEP) Dr. Saad S.M. Hassan prepared about 220 papers and 22 books and official reports covering a wide range of methods and techniques for the micro and ultramicro analysis of various substances and pollutants. He is an expert in Accreditation of Environmental Laboratories according to ISO 17025 and implementation of the Quality Control/Quality Assurance standards.
