BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman is a Professor of Pharmacy Discipline of Life Science School at Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh where he has been a faculty member since 2000. He was the Head of Pharmacy Discipline till March 2018. He received his PhD in Medical Science from University of Tokushima, Japan in 2009. He received his B. Pharm. & M. Pharm. degrees in Pharmacy from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was awarded prestigious Monbukagakusho scholarship to pursue his doctoral study in Japan and Tokyo Biochemical Research Foundation (TBRF) fellowship in 2010 and carried out two-year postdoctoral research in the research institute for microbial diseases of Osaka University, Japan He also received a grant from the Ministry of Science, Information and Technology, Bangladesh in 2015. He is member of a number of professional organizations including, Bangladesh Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BSBMBB), Member of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society and active member of American Association of Cancer Research (AACR). He has published articles in various international and national journals. He also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer of international and national journals. He also guided undergraduate and master students for their research work. He also participated in various international workshops and gives presentations.
