BIOGRAPHY:
Abdur Razzaque obtained PhD in Demography from the Australian National University, Australia and his PhD work examined reproductive preferences and subsequent behavior in a rural area of Bangladesh. He also worked as a Research Fellow at the Australian National University (2006-7). Dr. Razzaque has long experience in managing the longest surviving Health and Demographic Surveillance System in Matlab, Bangladesh and currently has established a Health and Demographic Surveillance System in selected slums of Dhaka (North & South) and Gazipur City Corporations. Dr. Razzaque published over 50 papers in various journals related to population, reproductive health, and infant, child and adult mortality, heath equity, self-rated health and mortality and non-communicable disease risk factors.
