Dr. Giuseppe Lanza is currently working as Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Researcher at the Oasi Research Institute – IRCCS in Troina (Italy), which is a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization (WHO). After graduation with honors in Medicine, he was trained at the School of Neurology and he got the international Ph.D. at the University of Catania (Italy). He is a Visiting Clinical Research Fellow, he further trained at the Department of Neuroscience, Newcastle University (UK). In 2013 he was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS). From October 2015 he was teaching Neurology at the Kore University of Enna (Italy). More recently, he also obtained the Master of Science (Level I) in Clinical Research and the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor (procedure for the Italian University Professor position recruiting, based on scientific qualification criteria).

Dr. Giuseppe Lanza has been co-authored approximately 90 publications in international refereed Journals and Conferences/Meetings, and he also served as Editor and invited Reviewer of several international Journals.

Dr. Giuseppe Lanza’s research interest includes Cerebrovascular diseases, Cognitive impairment, dementia, Neuropsychiatric disorders, Sleep disorders Gluten-related neuropathology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Neurosonology and Neuroplasticity.
