BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Shimaa Ahmed Ibrahim Amer is working as Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition, Department of Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition, Faculty of Veterinary medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt. He did his PhD in Zagazig University, Egypt. He has many publications in peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Shimaa Ahmed Ibrahim Amer’s professional skills includes:-
Chemical analysis of feed stuff:
- Moisture analysis, hot air oven.
- Ash analysis, by Muffle furnace.
- Fat analysis by: SOXHLET apparatus.
Protein analysis:
- Micro-KJELDAHL Nitrogen Determination System.
- Crude fibre analysis by:
- Automated crude fibre determination and its fractionation to ADF and NDF by FIBRETHERM®.
- Ration formulation (Dairy Cattle, Beef, Sheep and Goat, Poultry, Rabbit, Fish and Laboratory Animals).
- Processing of feed stuff and recycling of low nutritional value feed (e.g. Straw).
- Making of Silage.
