BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Scott Poh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Louisiana Tech University, USA. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University in the department of chemistry and Institute for Drug Discovery under the direction of Dr. Philip Low. He went on to pursue postdoctoral studies in biomedical research from Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University under the direction of Dr. Alyssa Panitch. His research interests were the development of bio-nanomaterials, organic synthesis, biological assay detection, diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of cancer and inflammatory model. His research often requires collaborative work from both academia and industry this often involves networking and sharing of expertise. He has published a number of peer-reviewed journals involving biopolymers, nanomaterials and targeting therapy.
